Full-time Traveler & Photographer
Hey, I’m Alex, a passionate traveler from Germany who always had a thirst to explore the world. After six years in the corporate world of export finance, I took the leap in 2022, swapping my office desk for a camera to capture unforgettable memories across the world. Since May 2022, I’ve been traveling full-time – mainly as solo traveler – exploring breathtaking destinations like the Maldives, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.
Since starting my world trip in 2022, I’ve been sharing daily travel adventures, experiences, and travel tips on both Instagram and this website. I’ve explored over 30 countries and lived in Germany, the United States, Spain, Australia and New Zealand — with no plans to stop anytime soon! There’s so much more to discover in this beautiful world. As a content creator and photographer, I capture nature's beauty and landscapes in an aesthetic way because, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
It was in 2019 when I found my passion for photography and it’s a kind of funny story on how I actually found my way to it. Back then, I was seeing a hobby photographer who took amazing travel pictures and I remember bombarding him with a thousand questions about his photography on our first date. As a result, on our second date, he took me out with his camera and explained to me all the settings and especially the exposure triangle which is key to photography. I didn’t understand a word about what he was explaining to me, because I only had eyes for one thing … his camera and the beautiful high-quality pictures it took. That night, I took my very own first long exposure picture of a moving illuminated big wheel and I was pumped. In that moment I fell in love and have been in a happy relationship ever since… with photography, not the guy from the date.

Kia Ora! Since late December 2023, I’ve been on a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand. After an amazing long-term housesit near Auckland, where I cared for a small farm full of adorable fur babies, I hit the road in a motorhome to explore everything New Zealand has to offer — from its rugged coastlines to its snow-capped peaks. Currently, I’m working at a cozy café on the North Island while doing another long-term housesit. I can’t wait for November though, where I'll be back on the road uncovering more of this incredible country. Stay tuned on Instagram as I document every twist and turn of this epic adventure!
Despite being born in February, I am a total frost bite and – apart from the Christmas season – winter and I will probably never be friends. Give me sun, 25 - 30°C and I’m the happiest girl.
I love all kinds of comedy series/movies that make me laugh big time, my top 3 are Modern Family, Friends and The Big Bang Theory. I absolutely hate horror movies and am not kidding when I say I get nightmares for 3 months straight after watching one.
I am an absolute sweet tooth and am addicted to chocolate. Couldn’t live without it! But I hate coriander (cilantro) and will never understand the hype of Avocado.
I had my first grey hair when I was 19 and started dying my roots when I was 22. By now I could probably go full granny style but am not quite there yet because I just love my brown hair.
